2019 Santa-Cali-Gon

What a Weekend at Santa-Cal-Gon Parking

The weekend started on Thursday night August 29, 2019 setting up of the Troop’s Parking Lots including putting up the signage and marking off the Mustard Seed lot, etc. What made it nice is there was a lot of help and everyone worked together to get the job done.

The weekend really started on Friday morning, August 30th when we started parking cars at 11:30 AM and continued until 4:00 PM on Monday, September 2nd. Even though we ended each evening around 10:30 PM, it felt like we parked cars non-stop throughout the four day weekend.

Those who worked these four days had a great time but a tiring time. We enhanced our comradery through teamwork and socializing with each other. By the end of the weekend, many felt just like this photo.

The Scout Troop would like to thank everyone who gave up a part of your holiday weekend to help your Scout Troop with this fundraiser. It would not be possible without you.  A big shout out goes to those leaders, scouts and parents that gave up their entire weekend to help with the fundraiser.
